Lara Guest’s practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in a variety of areas, including corporate/commercial litigation, class action defence, securities law, internal investigations and construction and infrastructure disputes. Lara has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Ontario Securities Commission.
Lara is an active contributor to Torys’ pro bono program.
During law school, Lara worked at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights and as a research assistant in the field of law and economics.
Lara mentors secondary school students in the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program. She was also a member of the Torys’ United Way Campaign committee.
