Overview
Catherine supports the General Counsel, working closely with the firm's lawyers and administrative teams in providing guidance on various issues related to conflicts of interest, ethics and professional responsibility. Her areas of focus include risk management, information security, marketing, firm governance at both national and international levels, records management and data governance.

Professional Involvement
The outset of Catherine’s legal career began nearly 20 years ago, starting at Torys as a student and then as an associate. Before re-joining Torys, Catherine held several director and in-house counsel positions, the most recent of which was as Director of the Contracts Management Group and Senior Legal Counsel at The Bank of Nova Scotia.
Catherine has served on the Board of Directors for the Waegwoltic Club (Halifax) as well as for Events East, where she was the Chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. Catherine is involved in various other community organizations.
