Sophie’s practice focuses on corporate law, with an emphasis on private equity and M&A. She has experience advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a broad range of transactions, including M&A, add-on acquisitions and financing, and co-investment opportunities.

Professional Involvement
Before joining Torys, Sophie was an associate at a global law firm based in New York.
During law school, Sophie worked as the online editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and was a member of the Executive Committee and the Appellate Coordinator for Moot Court Honor Society. She also volunteered with the New York Legal Assistance Group and the Brooklyn Law School Mediation Clinic.
