Sarah Carter's practice focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on private equity and private fund formation. Sarah has experience representing public pension plans and other institutional investors in connection with their investments in private equity, venture capital and hedge funds and co-investment transactions.
Sarah regularly represents a number of institutional investors in connection with their investments in private investment funds, including: Alberta Investment Management Corporation, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, Public Sector Pension Investment Board, OPSEU Pension Trust, Northleaf Capital Partners, HarbourVest Partners, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec as well as other pension fund clients.
