Jessica practices corporate/commercial law with a focus on complex commercial technology transactions. Jessica advises clients on technology procurement, licensing, product launches, outsourcing, payment systems, fintech, blockchain, cloud computing, internet of things (IoT), AI, e-commerce and privacy compliance. Her clients include financial institutions, insurance companies, technology service providers, pension funds, government agencies and companies in the asset management, energy and securities sectors.

Prior to law school, Jessica served as a communications advisor to the former Attorney General of Ontario. She was also a policy advisor to the former Solicitor General of Ontario, as well as an issues management strategist for the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs. Before her experience working in government, Jessica served in the Canadian Forces Naval Reserves as a marine systems engineer.
