Robert’s practice focuses on the Canadian energy sector and he provides practical and strategic advice to domestic and international clients on a broad range of transactions and projects, including in connection with liquefied natural gas, conventional and unconventional upstream petroleum and natural gas, heavy oil and oilsands, pipeline and midstream, refining, electricity and renewable power.

Robert regularly acts as lead counsel on asset acquisitions and divestitures, private merger and acquisition transactions, joint venture and partnership formation, and a variety of other commercial arrangements that underline the development of energy projects.
