Food and Drug Regulatory LawA U.S. study suggests that many people are willing to link their social media accounts to their medical records. The research suggests that social media may reveal important information about the how disease begins, and how patients’ lives may be linked to disease progression and complications. While linking social media accounts to medical records may provide descriptive information about health histories, major issues and concerns over privacy, ethics and feasibility must be addressed.
