IPIC 2025 Annual Conference

Counsel Alexandra Peterson will speak at the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) 2025 Annual Conference taking place October 8-10 in in Saskatoon, SK. The conference is the largest gathering of intellectual property professionals in Canada, providing opportunities to network, gain insights into industry developments, share knowledge, and explore emerging trends and challenges in the IP landscape.

Alexandra will speak on the panel “Rethinking Patent Law: Unresolved Challenges in Canadian Doctrine” on October 10 at 10:15 a.m. The panel will examine unsettled issues in Canadian patent law and explore evolving principles around inventive concept, double patenting, the role of common general knowledge, and the doctrine of overbreadth.
