Patents, Prices and the PMPRB: A Guide to Pharmaceutical Price Regulation

Partner Teresa Reguly will speak at a webinar on July 18 hosted by the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.

Under the theme “Patents, Prices and the PMPRB: A Guide to Pharmaceutical Price Regulation,” the webinar will discuss the role and power of the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB), a federal body created under the Patent Act which governs the prices of patented medicines in Canada to ensure they remain reasonable. The speakers will also provide and overview of recent changes to the PMPRB’s regulations and outline key considerations when drafting and advising clients on pharmaceutical patents.
