Recent developments in AI are transforming the way we do business. This series is designed to equip business leaders, in-house counsel and governance professionals with the knowledge they need to navigate these changes and make informed decisions about AI use within their organizations.

Lessons from the last big thing: how cyber lessons inform AI oversight

As lists of board priorities continue to expand with constant technological, social and political developments, headlines may encourage directors to approach each new issue as unprecedented. However, principles that are adaptable to emerging areas and “novel” developments from previous cycles lend valuable insights to this year’s challenges and opportunities.

In this session, Molly Reynolds will be joined by Jodi Butts of Watson Board Advisors and Samantha Kappagoda of Credit Suisse Funds to examine key lessons from cyber security risk management that can be applied to AI oversight. Ranging from how to approach Board composition, education and awareness to mapping the role of the board in AI strategy oversight, the session will explore use cases from real-life AI and cyber contexts.

This session will be presented in English.
