Senior Associate Simon Williams and Associate Irfan Kara have co-authored “Criminal Interest Revisited: Apparent Immunity for Equity Kickers” for the July issue of Thomson Reuters’ Banking and Finance Law Review. In the article, Simon and Irfan discuss the Canadian legal landscape as it relates to equity incentives that are often features of subordinated and mezzanine debt offerings and other financings “at the riskier end of the credit spectrum.”
