What do Russian spies, the CRTC and the Superbowl have in common? Administrative law of course!
It seems that the Supreme Court re-thinks its approach to administrative law about every 10 years, often leaving lawyers and lower courts confused. On December 3-5, the Court will hear three cases that it has indicated will start this reconsideration again.
On the morning of the first hearing, Torys Appeals Group will unpack these cases for you: what are the issues, what is at stake, and why should you care.
7:45 - 8:00 a.m. Continental breakfast
8:00 - 9:30 a.m. Seminar
