Med Learning Group acquires MEDUCOM Health

Torys acted as counsel to Med Learning Group with a team led by Zehra Sheerazi and that included Claire Chapman and Brianna Pioli (corporate/M&A), Tom Stevenson and Parker Baglole (employment), Teresa Reguly and Sue Fei (regulatory and IP) and Jerald Wortsman (tax).

On September 23, 2023, Med Learning Group, LLC (“Med Learning Group”) acquired Meducom Health Inc. (“MEDUCOM Health”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

MEDUCOM Health is a full-service, integrated healthcare communications agency that conceptualizes, creates and delivers medical communications, pharmaceutical marketing, and medical education that drives physician and patient behaviour change.

Med Learning Group is a full-service accredited continuing medical education (“CME”) company, focuses on developing and implementing CME that improves physicians’ and nurses’ ability to provide optimal care to their patients. It is a portfolio company of DW Healthcare Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, managing six funds with over US$1.6 billion assets under management.
