Sun Life leads C$43 million round of financing in Dialogue

Torys acted as counsel to Sun Life with a team that included Josh Teichman and Shane Thomas (corporate/financing).

On July 29, 2020, Sun Life announced a strategic commercial partnership and C$32.7 million equity investment in Dialogue Health Technologies Inc. ("Dialogue"). Sun Life will hold a minority ownership in Dialogue with customary rights to acquire additional equity.

In addition to Sun Life’s equity investment, the round also involved follow-on investments from existing investors Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Portag3 Ventures, White Star Capital, HV Holtzbrinck Ventures, First Ascent Ventures, and Walter Ventures.
