Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust completes offering of Series D senior unsecured debentures
On April 18, 2017, Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust ("CREIT") completed its previously announced issuance of C$125 million aggregate principal amount of series D senior unsecured debentures. These debentures were sold at a price of C$99.997 per C$100.00 principal amount, bearing interest at a rate of 2.951% per annum and maturing on January 18, 2023. The debentures were offered on an agency basis by a syndicate of agents with RBC Capital Markets as the sole bookrunner and lead agent.
The net proceeds of the offering are being used by CREIT for the repayment of indebtedness and general business purposes.
