Ohorayama Wind Farm
The first project financed wind project in Japan, the wind farm consists of 11 GE-3.0-103 turbines built on a forested ridgeline used for industrial purposes.
The project was developed in a single phase and achieved commercial operation in March of 2018. Ohorayama Wind has a 20-year power purchase agreement with Shikoku Electric Power Company for 100% of the output from the facility.
On January 9, 2017, Pattern Energy Group LP ("Pattern") and Green Power Investment Corporation ("GPI") announced the completion of financing of the 33 MW Green Power Otsuki GK ("Ohorayama Wind") power project, located in Kochi Prefecture, Japan.
