Scotiabank closes subordinated debenture offering

On March 30, 2015, The Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) closed its inaugural Basel III-compliant offering of C$1.25 billion of 2.58% subordinated debentures due 2027.
The debentures were sold through an agency syndicate led by Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets pursuant to a pricing supplement to Scotiabank's June 27, 2014 base shelf prospectus.
