Broadcom completes C$141.5 million acquisition of Advanced Micro Devices' DTV business

On October 28, 2008, Broadcom Corp. (Broadcom) announced that it has completed the acquisition of Advanced Micro Devices' digital TV business (NYSE: AMD) for C$141.5 million in cash.
