Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre
Dan Ford acted as counsel to TD Bank as the lead arranger and agent on behalf of a syndicate of lenders to PCL Constructors Canada, the successful proponent for the C$113 million Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre PPP project to build and finance the expansion of both the Ottawa Hospital and Queensway Hospital campuses in Ottawa, Ontario.
The Ottawa Hospital General Campus project includes
- the renovation and expansion of the existing Cancer Centre to consolidate The Ottawa Hospital's cancer services at the General Campus
- capacity for eight radiation treatment machines and one standby machine
- additional space to offer a total capacity for four clinics and 50 chemotherapy spaces
- a research laboratory and two floors of shelled in space for future expansion
The Queensway Carleton Hospital project includes the new construction of a four-storey, 85,000 square foot building that will house
- three radiation treatment machines
- two clinics and 33 chemotherapy spaces
- a parking garage
