Sophia Tolias is Torys’ Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, responsible for driving the firm’s business strategy and growth objectives across practices and offices. In this role, she leads the firm’s marketing, business development and client development functions, working closely with legal and business professionals to identify emerging opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and advance the firm’s most significant pursuits. Her mandate spans competitive and market analysis, brand strategy, client engagement programs, and cross‑border growth initiatives.

Sophia brings 25 years of broad and sophisticated experience in the legal services industry, grounded in her earlier career as a corporate lawyer at leading global law firms in Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as her work as in‑house counsel at major organizations.
