Stacey is a civil litigator with a broad litigation and dispute resolution practice. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, securities law, class actions and privacy law. She has appeared as counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Stacey also represents clients in regulatory investigations and various administrative proceedings, and she frequently advises clients on compliance issues in their businesses and in the context of civil litigation.
Stacey is an advocate for the privacy rights of victims of image-based abuse. In addition to acting on a number of cases engaging privacy tort liability and the rights of individuals to protect and control their image, she frequently speaks and writes on legal matters related to privacy torts in Canada.
