Holly has a broad litigation practice with a focus on complex commercial disputes, class actions, and public law. Holly has acted for clients across a broad range of industries, including financial services, mining, biotechnology, and telecommunications.
Holly has argued before the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Holly has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada multiple times, as well as the Federal Court of Appeal, the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, and arbitral tribunals.
Prior to joining Torys, Holly was a litigation associate at a full-service law firm in Toronto. Holly served as a law clerk for Associate Chief Justice Fairburn and Justices Hoy, Gillese, and Huscroft of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. During law school, Holly was deeply involved in the faculty’s mooting program, as a member of the Moot Court Committee, a mooter in the Faculty’s Grand Moot, and a mooter and coach in the Gale Cup.
