Krista was an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she taught on energy and natural resources law. She is also a member of the University of Toronto Law Alumni Association Council, an organization which provides advice to the Dean of the Law School.
 
Krista speaks frequently at M&A, infrastructure and energy conferences and is a past executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Natural Resources and Energy section. In addition, she is a director of the Canadian Nuclear Law Organization.  
 
Krista serves as the Chair of The York School, a Canadian Accredited Independent School (CAIS), located in Toronto. She also serves as a director of Rainbow Railroad, an organization dedicated to assisting LGBTQI refugees seeking a safe haven in order to escape violence or persecution in their home countries.
