Kevin's practice focuses on tax disputes and litigation. He advises various clients, including financial institutions and multinational corporations, and has experience with a wide range of income tax and sales tax matters.
Kevin has acted in matters before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Ontario Divisional Court.
Kevin also regularly assists with managing the audit and administrative appeals process with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial tax authorities, often negotiating and resolving tax disputes without the need for litigation.
Kevin mentors law students and junior lawyers through the Osgoode Alumni Mentor Program and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers mentorship program. He has also volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools, a program that helps high school students succeed in school and become engaged and active citizens.
Kevin has completed Parts I, II and III of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Advocates Society.
