The Honourable Arif Virani, Senior Counsel, will speak at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Annual Conference taking place October 4-9 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference will bring together legal professionals from around the world and across a range of practice areas to connect, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful discussions.
The Hon. Mr. Virani will speak on the session “Where is the US Supreme Court? What are the contrasts with the Supreme Courts of Canada and Mexico in terms of safeguarding the constitution, fundamental principles of democracy, and the rule of law?” on October 6 at 2:30 p.m. The session will explore recent developments involving the Supreme Courts of the United States and Mexico and their implications for judicial independence, the rule of law, constitutional democracy, and businesses operating across North America.
