Resourcing Tomorrow

Partners Michael Pickersgill and Michael Amm will speak at Resourcing Tomorrow in London, England between December 3-5.

The conference is one of the largest mining events in Europe, bringing together industry leaders from around the world to share practical insights, discuss innovative strategies, and discover the opportunities shaping the future of the mining and resources industry.

Michael Pickersgill will start off the conference by moderating the keynote panel “Considering it took an average 15.7 years for the 127 mines opened in the last two decades to move from first discovery to commercial exploration how can the mining industry bridge the distance between discovery and production and de-risk project development and incentivize investment?” at 9:00 a.m. This panel will investigate approaches aimed at closing the divide between discovery and production, expediting project development, and acquiring the necessary resources for a sustainable future.

On the final day of the conference, Michael Amm will moderate the keynote panel “Deal or no deal? How M&A in the mining sector can build sustainable value in 2025 and beyond.” At 10:40 a.m. This panel will offer an in-depth examination of the future of M&A and JVs within the mining sector.
