Partner Ebad Rahman and senior associate Ronak Shah will be speaking at the Ontario Bar Association’s Institute on February 7 on consumer smart technologies and privacy law. The session will discuss the opportunities and help navigate the legal challenges related with consumer and industrial applications of smart technologies.
Ebad will speak on “Privacy, Cyber Security and Smart Technologies” and cover topics such as, what to consider when contracting with smart tech vendors, what data can the vendor access and effective cybersecurity due diligence looks like.
Ronak will moderate the fireside chat on current and future directions in smart technologies and the law.
