Torys will, for the second year in a row, lead an important initiative with the Schulich School of Business Brookfield Centre in Real Estate and Infrastructure.
Senior associate Nooreen Bhanji will spearhead the exercise on March 21 and 22, which will see some of the school’s students work alongside Torys’ real estate lawyers to participate in a mock joint venture in commercial real estate.
The program affords Masters of Real Estate and Infrastructure students the opportunity to engage with practicing lawyers in a simulated joint venture in commercial real estate. Students get the chance to understand how negotiations play out across the (virtual) boardroom table and helps them navigate and learn about the complex negotiations that could take place in a real-life joint venture.
You can learn more about our real estate lawyers participating in this program by visiting our Real Estate practice page.
