Torys named North America Legal Adviser of the Year 2020 at the IJGlobal Awards
Torys is delighted to announce that we have been named North America Legal Adviser of the Year for infrastructure at 2020 at the IJGlobal Awards. Additionally, four infrastructure transactions we advised on in 2020 were recognized at the awards.
According to the independent panel of judges, “Torys was singled out because it is the only law firm with an integrated infrastructure practice on both sides of the U.S./Canada border, with the ability to advise on the planning, procurement and development of significant projects and implement secondary markets trades and refinancings.” One judge commented that Torys was received the award "due to the volume, scope and complexity of its multi-sector infrastructure deals... and led the industry by creating new project finance structures, such as the use of a gas netback."
You can find out more information on the awards, and what the judges had to say about Torys, in the IJGlobal Magazine Summer 2021 edition.
