Torys Named Winner in Americas Tax Awards 2018

We are pleased to announce Torys has been named winner of the International Tax Review Americas Tax Awards in the Americas Private Equity Tax Deal of the Year category. The firm was recognized for its work on the acquisition of Calpine Corporation by and affiliate of Energy Capital Partners and a consortium of investors.

The awards gala was held on September 14 and celebrates the top tax practices and top tax deals across 15 countries from North, South and Central America.
