Overview
We represent clients making private equity investments in real estate enterprises and direct investments through joint ventures, co-ownerships, ground leases and other equity finance structures.
We work closely with members of our Tax and Private Equity practices to structure and implement appropriate joint venture vehicles for such transactions. Our lawyers have extensive experience drafting and negotiating the complicated contractual provisions that govern such relationships, including co-ownership, partnership and shareholders agreements and ground leases.
We also have experience assisting clients in the formation of private real estate investment funds and REITs.
