Manulife completes C$2.5 billion common equity offering
Torys acted as counsel to Manulife, working with Jean-Paul Bisnaire, Senior Executive Vice President, Business Development and General Counsel, and David Kerr, Assistant Vice President, Senior Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. On November 30, 2009, Manulife Financial Corporation ("Manulife") completed its previously announced offering of C$2.5 billion of common shares. The common shares were sold to a syndicate of underwriters in a bought deal public offering.
