Sundial closes initial public offering
On July 5, 2019, Sundial Growers Inc. ("Sundial") announced that it filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and a preliminary prospectus in Canada with the securities regulatory authorities in each province of Canada (other than the Province of Quebec) for a proposed initial public offering of its common shares to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market ("Nasdaq"), using the ticker symbol "SNDL".
Pricing of the offering was announced on July 31, 2019, at a price to the public of US$13.00 per share, and closed on August 6, 2019.
Cowen and BMO Capital Markets served as joint book-running managers for the offering. Barclays also served as a bookrunner.
