Canyon Services Group acquires Fraction Energy Services

On July 31, 2014, Canyon Services Group Inc. (Canyon) announced that, effective July 1, 2014, it closed its previously announced acquisition of Fraction Energy Services Ltd. (Fraction), a privately held company based in Calgary, Alberta. Total consideration, including the assumption of debt, for the acquisition was approximately C$101.7 million.

Fraction is a leading water management company in Canada, servicing the oil and gas industry in Alberta and British Columbia.

Canyon is a fast-growing company providing hydraulic fracturing and other well-stimulation services, including coiled tubing, acidizing, cementing, nitrogen and CO2, to oil and natural gas producers developing a variety of play types across Western Canada.
