Imperial Metals completes US$325 million high-yield notes offering

On March 12, 2014, Imperial Metals Corporation (Imperial) announced the completion of a US$325 million senior unsecured notes offering. The notes will mature on March 15, 2019. The offering was priced at par on March 6, 2014 with an interest rate of 7%.
The net proceeds of the offering will be used by the company to repay existing indebtedness, to fund capital expenditures related to the Red Chris project, and for general corporate purposes.
