Greenfields Petroleum Corporation announces completion of brokered financing

On July 9, 2013, Greenfields Petroleum Corporation (Greenfields) announced that it completed its previously announced brokered offering of common shares of Greenfields by issuing 821,800 common shares, at a price of C$3.40 per common share, for gross proceeds of approximately C$2.8 million. In combination with the non-brokered private placement which closed on June 25, 2013, Greenfields has raised, in aggregate, gross proceeds of approximately $9.6 million.
The brokered offering was conducted through a syndicate of agents led by FirstEnergy Capital Corp. and including Casimir Capital Ltd.
