Ford Credit Canada Limited completes private placement of C$500 million senior notes

On March 15, 2011, Ford Credit Canada Limited announced the closing of its private placement of C$500 million of 4.875% senior notes due 2014, guaranteed by Ford Motor Credit Company LLC. The notes were issued at par, will pay interest semi-annually on March 17 and September 17 of each year beginning September 17, 2011 and will mature on March 17, 2014.
The net proceeds from the private placement will be used for general corporate purposes.
