Ford Credit Canada Limited completes private placement of C$550 million senior notes

On August 18, 2010, Ford Credit Canada Limited announced the closing of its private placement of C$550 million of 7.50% senior notes due 2015, guaranteed by Ford Motor Credit Company LLC. The notes were issued at par, will pay interest semi-annually on February 18 and August 18 of each year beginning February 18, 2011 and will mature on August 18, 2015.
Proceeds from the private placement will be used for general corporate purposes.
