Rogers Communications signs IT services agreement with IBM
Torys acted as counsel to Rogers Communications with a team that included Gabe Takach, Dan Logan, Adam Armstrong and Eric Boehm.
On June 15, 2009, Rogers Communications Inc. announced that it signed a seven-year contract with IBM Corporation for information technology services and support. IBM will support Rogers' IT transformation by linking, using Rogers' Business Services networking technology, its data centre to that of Rogers. IBM will also upgrade Rogers' data centre facilities and storage capabilities over the next several years. The agreement represents a new business relationship for the two companies.
