Ilana’s practice focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions. She regularly advises emerging companies, mid-market businesses and private equity clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, management buyouts, spinoffs and reorganizations, as well as working with issuers and investors on debt and equity investments and early stage financings.
Ilana provides pro bono services to non-profit organizations in need of corporate and transactional support. Ilana received a Thurgood Marshall Award from the Federal Bar Council in 2008 for her pro bono service.

While in law school, Ilana was a Managing Editor on the Cornell Law Review, a teaching assistant for Cornell’s Lawyering program and a research assistant in the area of international law. Ilana also served as a law clerk for two judges on the U.S. federal courts and supplemented her practice experience by teaching law at two major universities in Europe.
