Kirsten worked as a summer law student at CI Investment, where she assisted with various corporate financing and regulatory matters.

During law school, Kirsten volunteered as a caseworker at the Queen’s Family Law Clinic, an advocacy coordinator at Queen’s Law Litigation Society and was a committee member at Queen’s Law Admissions Committee. She was awarded the course prize for contract law and the Law 1966 Scholarship in contract law.

While articling, Kirsten volunteered with the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program.
