
Annalise supports complex litigation and investigations by managing the review and production of large volumes of electronic documents. She works closely with litigation teams to apply efficient, defensible review strategies, ensures compliance with discovery obligations, and helps leverage technology to streamline document review and analysis.

Prior to joining Torys, Annalise practised at a regional firm, where she worked on a broad range of labour, employment, and regulatory matters. Her experience included representing clients in workplace disputes and labour arbitrations, as well as advising on governance issues for non-profit organizations. She also served as the firm’s law librarian, overseeing legal research resources and knowledge management systems to support efficient and effective access to information across the firm.
Annalise is a member of the Canadian Association of Law Libraries and takes an active interest in legal technology and information management, particularly how e-discovery tools can enhance the review and analysis of large data sets in complex litigation. She is also keenly interested in innovation in legal practice, including the adoption of new technologies and workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and client service.
