9th Annual FNMPC Conference

Partner and co-head of Torys’ Indigenous practice Valerie Helbronner will speak at the 9th Annual First Nations Major Projects Coalition Conference taking place April 30-May 1 in Toronto. The conference will bring together industry, government and Indigenous leaders to discuss economic development, partnerships and major projects in Canada.

Valerie will introduce the panel “When Nations Decide: Indigenous-Led Regulators and Better Projects” on April 30 at 2:20 p.m. The panel will explore how Indigenous-led, consent-based regulatory approaches to energy and LNG projects can improve decision-making, accelerate approvals and deliver stronger environmental and community outcomes.
