Senior Counsel Arif Virani will speak at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Annual Conference, happening in Toronto from November 2-7. The conference brings together legal professionals from across the globe and all practice areas to exchange insights, network, and foster meaningful connections.
Arif will speak at the session “US energy policy under Trump 2.0 and its impact on Canada and Mexico” on November 6 at 9:30 a.m. This session will explore the connection between North America’s energy policies and objectives, examining whether differing approaches will lead to significant divergence. It will also consider the potential impact on sustainable alternatives and discuss how energy companies and legal professionals will respond.
In addition to Arif’s session, several Torys partners will participate in sessions throughout the IBA conference. You can learn more about their speaking engagements by visiting our IBA webpage.
