Navigating the future of payments in Canada

Recent amendments to the Canadian Payments Act have expanded Payments Canada's membership eligibility to payment service providers under the Retail Payment Activities Act, credit union locals and clearing houses. This marks a critical step to participation on national payments infrastructure. As the newest payment infrastructure, Canada's Real-Time Rail payment system, nears launch, our panel will examine how these changes will impact Canadians, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
