Navigating corporate data breaches: director and officer responsibilities

Corporate data breaches are causing significant damage to organizations, and in some cases, individuals have been held responsible for them. With an alarming increase of incidents in Canada, it's become more and more important to keep cybersecurity top of mind—particularly for directors and officers at risk of personal liability.

In this session, Torys lawyers will share lessons learned from recent cyber attacks and examine how boards and c-level executives can assess and mitigate threats, effectively communicate vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents.

This session will be presented in English.
