Breakfast With Appeal: The tryptophan Tuesday edition

It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and what better way to revive yourself from turkey-fueled lethargy than with a court-ucopia of freshly harvested case law from the appellate courts?

Torys’ Appellate Group will discuss:

  • Lauzon v. Ontario and whether justices of the peace can talk turkey about the justice system;
  • Alberta Health Services v. Johnston and whether there is a tort of harassment for acting like a turkey; and
  • Imperial Oil Limited v. Haseeb and whether asking for employees to be a citizen/permanent resident is discriminatory.

Torys' Appellate Group is on Twitter! Follow @BWAtorys for the latest on BWA session updates and appellate court hot takes.

This session will be presented in English.

Time: 8:45 – 9:45 a.m. EDT presentation  |  8:30 a.m. EDT webinar opens

Ontario: This program is eligible for 60 Substantive minutes.
