Securing the deal: cyber strategies in M&A

Register

The significant amount of proprietary data and confidential information that is shared throughout an M&A transaction provides many opportunities for cybersecurity breaches. Many companies struggle to document their cybersecurity programs and demonstrate the effectiveness of those programs in the diligence context. The level of risk that is involved can directly translate to the value of the target company and affect the overall process and success of the transaction.

In this session, we look at how sellers can proactively structure and document their cybersecurity processes in preparation for a transaction, how buyers can monitor for red flags from due diligence through to post-closing, what to do with identified weaknesses, and key risk mitigation questions for every stage of the deal.

This session will be presented in English.
