Developing Client and Community Relationships (“DCCR”) is a non-credit, hands-on workshop where students will work with legal professionals and learn best practices for building positive relationships in a variety of settings.
Students will:
- Gain skills to make students more effective at developing and building both personal and business relationships with clients and communities
- Learn the basics of emotional intelligence and how to improve their EQ
- Learn the underlying principles of cultural competency
- Gain an understanding of how important EQ is in building relationships in settings including: inside a firm/clinic/corporate environment, with community members, with colleagues and with other team members
