Partner and co-head of the Competition and Foreign Investment Review Practice Omar Wakil and associate Marina Chernenko have co-authored “Bid-Rigging Enforcement Without a Bid-Rigging Provision: A Proposal for the Repeal of Section 47 of the Competition Act,” an article that will be published in the fall issue of the Canadian Competition Law Review. In the article, Omar and Marina discuss amending perceived overlap among sections of the Competition Act that address bid-rigging to optimally prosecute and enforce bid-rigging activity in Canada.
